Einfach mal schauen.

Übrigens auch keine schlechte Geschenkidee.

Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it.

This is one of my favorite things that Bonham has ever brought home from school. I love it. I even posted about it here.

So one day I came accross this site, Formia Design. First of all....OMG they have some aaaaammmmaaazing stuff. The asymmetrical wedding set? To die for. It is perfection. But I digress. Ok, back on track. They can take your child's art and turn it into a sterling silver key chain. How flippin cool is that? I sent this to my friend Melanie and said that I was sad I didn't have any art of Bonham's that would work. And she was all...Um...helloooooo....THE PIG. And so behold, RBB's father's day gift. A silver pig key chain.
I think this is the darn cutest gift ever. It ended up kind of big, so I can't really see RBB using it daily, but we could always put some extra house keys on it and have it hanging on a rack in the kitchen. So far though, he is using it daily. Isn't that sweet? I also got RBB a subscription to National Geographic...which I am positive I will regret since most conversations already start with "on this documentary I was watching..."....so now I will get "in this NG article I was reading...". Oh well....I guess I'll just learn something about something!

Greatly honored to have my story told by DR Dolly Garnecki

Inspiering Woman: Jewelry Designer Mia van Beek

Welcome to Inspiring Woman, a semi-monthly column that features amazing and inspiring women.  These women are moms, community leaders, entrepreneurs, or everyday heroes‚ each is making her corner of the world a better place.

I’m delighted to introduce you to Mia van Beek of Formia Designs.

Mia’s favorite thing about designing jewelry? The personal connection. She doesn’t create a huge array of pieces, but the ones she does bend and cut by hand are made especially for each client.
