*Restringing pearls on new silk wire is recomended once a year on very well used pearls, helps keep the pearls healthy

*don't keep in cotton while not wearing it dries pearls out

*put necklace on after you apply lotions or perfumes, pearls are organic and looses their shine from chemicals

*never swim or shower with it on that will help prevent the silk string to wear out
